Web Dashboard

The homepage of the web dashboard provides your organization's most vital information. From current weather to any potential policy risks, this is a great page to check as you start your day or when inclement weather is headed your way.

Create an Organization Location

  1. From the homepage, click Manage Locations in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Create Location.
  3. Enter a name for the location and the address you want to monitor, then click Create Location.

The new location will appear on the Location Management page and in the Organization Location dropdown menu on the homepage.

Add your organization location

  1. Log in to the web dashboard here. 
  2. Click the "Add Location" button from the top-right corner of the homepage. 
  3. Select the location you need to monitor and save. Note- if you don't see all of your locations available, contact support@perryweather.com.

Your weather station data

  1. If you have a Perry Weather weather station installed at the location you've added, the station image and current conditions data displayed will come directly from that weather station.
  2. The Current Conditions panel displays temperature, rainfall, wet bulb globe temperature, and additional weather data. Conditions update every 5 minutes. To customize which weather conditions are displayed on your dashboard, click the ellipses (…) and select up to five weather conditions. Use the arrow controls to organize the selected conditions in your preferred order.
  3. All weather station data is stored within the platform. To view historical data, click View Historical in the Current Conditions panel.

Lightning status

Lightning zones will be determined by your group policies or personal location settings outside of your group policies.

This panel displays the lightning zones you need to monitor for delays based on your configured group policies. During a delay, a flashing countdown timer will appear. The timer resets each time a new lightning strike is detected within your lightning zones. Once the all-clear timeframe has been reached, the panel will display an All Clear status.

Conditions snapshot

  1. Choose your condition (WBGT, Temperature, Wind Speed).
  2. View a rolling 3 hours of past data for the day. 

Map and live radar

  1. View radar, strike data, storm cells, active NWS alerts, tropical models, and more! Click the layers button in the bottom-right corner of the map to view additional map layers.
  2. The lightning zones displayed on the map surrounding your location are determined by your group policies or personal location settings outside of your group policies.
  3. View all strikes in a system that have occurred within the past 30 minutes. Strike markers are color-coded by age for quick reference: (0-5 mins, 5-15 mins, 15-30 mins). 
  4. The default still radar imagine is live radar that auto-refreshes every 2 minutes. Click the play button to view radar from the past hour. To view future radar, click the "past" button and switch to future for the next 1 hour of data. Or click extended radar for the next 3 days of radar data. Just press play!

Today's Policy Risks

We'll give you a heads-up if, based on the forecast, you'll breach one of your group policies. If you only have group policies set up for lightning, you will not see any information here.

Forecast Breakdown

  1. View hourly or daily data by clicking and dragging anywhere in the box.
  2. Click on a condition to see spikes or dips in the data.
