Accessing Historical Reports

Previously, historical exports were accessed through clicking “Historical →” under current conditions in the home dashboard. From there a pop-up would appear and you could export simple forms of data.

Now, when you click the export link, you’re redirected to a new Historical Reporting page in the navigation bar.

This page has two main components:

  • My Reports (left side): saved templates and recurring reports.
  • Report Builder (right side): create and customize new reports.

You’ll also see two tabs: Weather Conditions and Policy Activity

Weather Conditions Reports

Turn raw weather data into clarity. With Perry Weather’s Historical Weather Reports, you select what conditions matter to you, whether it be temperature, rainfall, air quality, or other variables and we deliver it to your team in a format that they can act on.

Pull insights across up to 20 stations, choose your timeframe (from 15-minute intervals to daily roll-ups), and schedule recurring reports so the right people get the right data automatically. No spreadsheets, no guesswork—just a clean record of the weather that impacted your operations.

How to create them:

  1. Select Weather Stations

  • Choose up to 20 stations.

  1. Choose Date Range

  • Options include last 7 days, last 30 days, quarter to date, or a custom range.
  • You can select specific days (e.g., Monday–Friday) or time windows (e.g., 8 a.m.–6 p.m.).

  1. Select Observations

  • Pick specific weather variables or observations (e.g., ambient temperature, WBGT, precipitation, air quality, wind gust).
  • Choose data aggregations such as max, average, or minimum.
  • You can also select all.

  1. Choose Data Interval

  • Dashboard updates every 5 minutes, but exports support 15 minute, 30 minute, 60 minute or daily intervals.
  • New options include 15-minute and 30-minute intervals (previously only hourly or daily).

  1. Configure Recurring Exports

  • Enable recurrence (e.g., weekly on Monday at 7 a.m.).
  • Time zone is displayed automatically.

  1. Add Recipients & Save as a Template

  • Add additional recipients at the individual or user group level (e.g., supervisors, health & safety team).
  • Name and save the report as a template.
Example: Field Ops Report – Sports Fields.

  1. Generate Report

  • Once saved, the system confirms details (next run date, included stations, recipients).
  • You’ll receive an email with a download link to the exported report.

Policy Activity Reports (NEW)

Policy Activity Reports take the debate out of delays. Whether you need a year-to-date summary or a detailed log of every single time a policy was triggered, Perry Weather creates an undeniable record of when, where, and why policies were triggered. Cover up to 50 locations in one export, quantify total time lost, and prove compliance in a format that’s boardroom-ready and audit-ready.

How to create them:

  1. Select Locations

  • Choose up to 50 locations.

  1. Choose Date Range

  • Options include year-to-date, last 30 days, custom ranges and more.

  1. Select Data Interval

  • Overall summary – one row per policy across the entire date range.
  • Monthly – one row per month, per policy.
  • Weekly – one row per week, per policy.
  • Daily – one row per day, per policy.
  • Detailed – one row for every single time a policy was triggered (e.g., every time lightning struck within 10, 20, or 30 miles of any location)
Overall summary is most aggregated; detailed is most granular.

  1. Configure Recurring Exports

  • Same as with Weather Conditions reports: schedule recurrence, add recipients, and even save the report as a template.

  1. Generate Report

  • Save and confirm.
  • Reports can then be downloaded via email just like Weather Conditions exports.
