Using StormBridge

StormBridge is a smart relay controller that connects Perry Weather’s platform to external systems like splash pads, irrigation, and lights. It allows those systems to automatically respond to weather policies or be controlled manually through our web and mobile apps.

you can adjust and customize your Stormbridge relay settings, such as:

  • The user group
  • The policy which triggers Stormbridge
  • The ability to toggle between manual and automated control.

Activating StormBridge automatically from a weather policy

Relays are driven by hardware triggers. To set one up for StormBridge:

  1. Open On-Site Hardware, click the Triggers tab, then click Add Trigger and choose a policy trigger.
  2. Choose the policy, then select your StormBridge unit and the named relays this trigger should switch. You can select any other units you want to fire with this trigger as well.
  3. When configuring the Delay, make sure to select the StormBridge unit you want to trigger
  4. Configure the all clear. The all clear will turn off the StormBridge automatically with the Remote Relay Off action on the all clear.
  5. Review the summary, then click Create Trigger.
